Let’s get to it.

Today’s lesson: Drafting Your Business Context
If you’ve spent any time writing prompts for ChatGPT, you’ve no doubt discovered that the more information you provide, the more relevant its responses tend to be.
But it’s annoying having to type in a history of your entire business every time you’re working on a new marketing idea.
So what you do instead is:
Draft your business context ONCE, save it on your computer somewhere, and re-use it every time you have a question related to your business.
Over time you can even refine it.
But the point is: don’t reinvent the wheel every time.
Write a thorough business context, save it in your email drafts or wherever, and come back to it.
Here’s what I mean:
PROMPT:
Business Name: [business name]
Industry: [industry]
Products/Services: [what you sell]
Business Model: [how you make money]
Target Demographic: [who you sell to primarily, and where]
Unique Selling Proposition (USP): [your unique business value]
Current Marketing Channels: [where you market to customers]
Business Goals: [what you're trying to achieve]
Question: [a marketing question to be completed based on the business context above]
Here’s an example of this in action followed by ChatGPT’s response:

Try it yourself.
You’ll find that spending the time to write your business context once, thoughtfully, is far more efficient than haphazardly retyping a quick summary of your business each time.
Remember, you’re only one prompt away from a winning campaign!
