Winning ads can seem mysterious.

Even now, I have a hard time predicting which ads will work.

But there’s an easy way to produce more winning ads:

Ask ChatGPT to analyze the structure of your favorite ad copy.

Warning: this may not be that useful for single-sentence headlines.

But when it comes to longer ad copy, it can be insightful.

If you subscribed recently, you may have come from an ad you saw on Facebook like this:

It’s generating a low cost per new email subscriber, so I wanted to analyze the narrative structure and use it as a template in the future.

PROMPT:

I have a very successful Facebook ad with the following copy. Can you please analyze it as if you are an expert copywriter and explain to me why it's so effective?

Primary text: "Is this you?"

Image text: '"Hey, it's the Marketing Prompts Guy."

A lot of digital marketers are worried AI will replace them.

I don't think that's true.
